The Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Association welcomes you to our website. Founded in 1984, the series quickly developed into one of the top amateur organizations in the United States. Its strength and success can be found in the friendly competitive spirit of its riders and the friendly atmosphere that exists among the competitors. Our motto of "Formed for Riders by Riders" is the foundation on which the series was built and is indicative of its basis of operation. The organization is run by elected volunteer officers and by many other volunteers who donate their time to ensure that it remains a quality series.

The gates have dropped for the 2023 racing season and Parts Unlimited is excited to support amateur riders and its dedicated dealer network at over 125 race events nationwide. Parts Unlimited is pleased to continue its longstanding support at all levels of the industry and, announce their commitment of over $250,000 dedicated to their We Support the Sport® Racer Rewards Program for the 2023 racing season. Now in its 4th year, the 2023 program is shaping up to be the best-ever for rider participation. Each year, the number of entries has grown and even includes rider’s family members getting in on the racing action and program. As Jeff Derge, VP of Sales for Parts Unlimited’s parent company LeMans Corporation has said, “This Racer Rewards Program has proven to support and strengthen the relationship between the amateur racing community and their local dealers.
