If interested call Neil Wamsley at C: (804) 898-1534 or W: (804) 520-4954. Please follow these guidlines if you choose to stay here. First, it's FREE. You can stay here Thursday thru Sunday but you must be out by Monday morning. Generators are allowed but NO FIRES. There is clean water at the well house via hose. All noise (music, etc.) and outside lites must be out by 10PM. This will keep the neighbors happy!
Directions: The Pipsico Boy Scout Reservation is approximately 14 miles north of Slades Park.
If you are traveling West on RT 10 or North on RT 31 towards Surry look for the flashing Caution Light at the intersection of RT. 10, RT 31 and RT 626 (Lebanon Rd.). At the flashing light in Surry, VA, travel Northwest on RT. 626. Follow RT 626 for 2.8 miles to RT 618. Turn right on RT 618 (Southwark Rd) and follow it for 1.9 miles. At the intersection of RT 618 and RT 610, turn left and go 1.3 miles to the race course. The Pipsico Boy Scout Reservation will be on your right.
If you are traveling East on RT 10 or North on RT 40, look for the intersection of RT 40, RT 10 and RT 610. Go Northeast on RT 610 (you will see Georgettes Crossroads Market at the corner). Travel 6.0 miles to the Pipsico Boy Scout Reservation, which will be on your left.
